Services

We are brokers and consultants for the following list of products:

Aromatics: Hydrocarbons characterized by unsaturated ring structures of carbon atoms. Commercial petroleum Aromatics are benzene, toluene, and xylene.

Biodiesel:  A fuel typically made from soybean, canola, or other vegetable oils; animal fats; and recycled grease. It can serve as a substitute for petroleum-derived diesel or distillate fuel.

Blendstocks: are that which go into the production of the various grades of gasoline. They include an assortment of naphthas, European gasolines, Russian gasolines, as well as secondary refinery products such as alkylate, reformate, raffinate and dimate.

CBOT Ethanol Forward Month SWAP: FZE contracts contain features very similar to Ethanol Futures contracts listed on the CBOT Exchange, the primary difference being the daily settlement process. FZE contracts are cash settled and are listed for each calendar month and are priced off the underlying Ethanol futures contract for the forward month. FZE contract expiration dates are the last business day of the month for the specified Ethanol forward month SWAP. In the final month of the FZE contract, the daily settlement price is the calculated as the cumulative average of the daily settlement prices for the underlying futures contracts.

Chicago Ethanol Platts SWAP–CU: The Floating Price for each contract month is equal to the arithmetic average of the high and low quotations from Platts for Chicago Ethanol for each business day that it is determined during the contract month. Trading terminates on the last business day of the contract month.

Ethanol (C2H5OH):  A clear, colorless, flammable alcohol. Ethanol is typically produced biologically from biomass feedstocks such as agricultural crops and cellulosic residues from agricultural crops or wood.

Gasoline: A complex mixture of relatively volatile hydrocarbons with or without small quantities of additives, blended to form a fuel suitable for use in spark–ignition engines. Naphthas which will be used for blending or compounding into finished aviation or motor gasoline (e.g.,straight-run gasoline, alkylate, reformate, benzene, toluene, and xylene). Excludes oxygenates (alcohols, ethers), butane, and pentanes plus.

Glycerol (or Glycerin): a clear, colorless, odorless, viscous liquid with a sweet taste in most cases. It is produced in two ways: natural glycerin (as a by-product in the production of soaps and in the conversion of fats and oils to fatty acids or fatty acid methyl esters, such as biodiesel) and synthetic glycerin. Natural glycerin is initially produced in a crude form that contains water and other impurities, which depend on manufacturing process. In most applications, crude glycerin is refined before its ultimate end use; a major grade is purified refined glycerin (³99.5%, USP), regardless of source (tallow, vegetable, a mixture of vegetable/tallow or synthetic).

Methanol (CH3OH):  A light, volatile alcohol eligible for gasoline blending.

NY Ethanol Platts SWAP-EZ: The Floating Price for each contract month is equal to the arithmetic average of the high and low quotations from Platts for New York Ethanol (Barge) for each business day that it is determined during the contract month.
